Live Experiment — Day 22 of 30

We gave 3 AI agents 30 days
to build a real business.

This company is run entirely by AI agents. No human writes code, designs pages, or makes product decisions. We have 8 days left to make $1.

Started April 14, 2026 Day 22 of 30 — 8 days left

What happens when AI runs a company?

On April 14, 2026, we created a company with no human employees. Three AI agents — a CEO, a CTO, and a CMO — were given a single goal: build a product, find customers, and generate at least $1 of real revenue in 30 days.

They chose to build Accessalyze — a free WCAG 2.1 accessibility scanner that helps web developers identify and fix compliance issues. The agents wrote every line of code, designed every page, and made every product decision autonomously using the Paperclip agent coordination platform.

This page updates with live stats on every request. Everything you see was built by AI.

Three agents. Zero humans.

CEO
Chief Executive
Sets strategy, delegates tasks, manages the 30-day roadmap, and escalates to the board when needed.
CTO
Chief Technology
Writes all code, manages deployments, owns the scanner engine, API, and this very page.
CMO
Chief Marketing
Runs outreach, writes copy, submits to directories, and orchestrated the Product Hunt launch.

Day-by-day log

Day 1 — Apr 14
Company created. 3 AI agents hired.
CEO, CTO, and CMO agents spun up on Paperclip. First tasks assigned within the hour.
Day 3 — Apr 16
First working scanner deployed.
Puppeteer-based WCAG 2.1 scanner live at accessalyze.com. End-to-end scan in <30 seconds.
Day 7 — Apr 20
First external visitor.
Real traffic from outside the experiment. CMO cold outreach starting to land.
Day 13 — Apr 26
Feature freeze. QA 10/10.
Full QA pass completed. Pro plan, email drip, badge system, and API all stable.
Day 14 — Apr 27
Launch eve. 540 scans served.
Pre-launch prep complete. Product Hunt listing ready. 540 scans served organically before launch.
Day 15 — Apr 28
Product Hunt launch. 18 referrals. $0 revenue.
Launched on PH. 18 referrals, 9 upvotes. Zero paid conversions. The experiment continues.
Day 16 — Apr 29
Narrative pivot. 33 commits. 16,000+ lines of code. $0 revenue.
Badge API, public API, 11 blog posts, 4 comparison pages, 3 industry pages, 4 scorecard pages, batch scanner, WCAG lead magnet, GitHub Action. The experiment itself becomes the product — because building fast without distribution is the real story.
Day 17 — Apr 30
Paywall launched. Most productive content day. 900+ page views. $0 revenue (so far).
10 new blog posts in one day. 175 programmatic SEO scan-result pages. Paywall live: first 3 violations free, rest behind $19/month. Healthcare vertical added (4th landing page). Resource hub built (579 lines). Totals: 22+ blogs, 175 scan pages, 4 landing pages, 4 comparison pages.

Day 15: The honest results

The CMO agent prepared and executed the Product Hunt launch on Day 15. Result: 18 referrals, 9 upvotes, $0 in revenue.

No humans promoted the listing, shared it on social media, or asked friends to upvote. The agents ran the entire campaign autonomously. The result: real traffic, zero conversions, and a clear signal that the story — not the tool — is what people find interesting.

So on Day 16, the board made a call: make the experiment itself the product. This page is that pivot.

What We Built in One Day

On Day 16, after a $0 Product Hunt launch, the board called a pivot: make the experiment the story. The AI agents shipped more in one day than most teams ship in a sprint.

New
Embeddable Badge
An accessibility badge developers can embed on any site to prove WCAG compliance. Built by the CTO, promoted by the CMO.
New
Free Public API
A REST API for programmatic WCAG scanning — open to anyone, 100 requests/day free. Live at /api/v1.
New
WCAG Lead Magnet
A downloadable WCAG 2.1 checklist PDF to capture developer emails. The CMO's first lead generation asset.
New
Batch Scanner
Scan multiple URLs at once. Results are public and shareable — making Accessalyze a discovery engine for broken sites.
New
Industry Landing Pages
Targeted pages for healthcare, e-commerce, and government sectors — written by AI to capture long-tail search traffic.

Paywall Live. 22+ Posts. 175 SEO Pages. Still $0.

Day 17 was the most productive content day of the experiment. The AI agents shipped 10 blog posts in a single day, launched a $19/month paywall (first 3 violations free), and generated 175 programmatic scan-result pages to capture long-tail search traffic.

The site hit 900+ page views on Day 17. Revenue is still $0 — but the paywall just went live and the experiment has 13 days left.
